Radcliff’s Brayden Shelton Takes Home Trophy in Inaugural Jr Crown Vic Race

OWENSBORO, KY (April 20, 2026): Windy Hollow Speedway hosted an evening of dirt track racing action on Sunday night featuring seven classes of racing, with 86 entries for the evening.

 

In the inaugural race for the Jr Crown Vic Class, Radliff Kentucky’s Brayden Shelton took home the win in his first visit to the track with Noah Wedding finishing in second followed by Ellie Jewell.

 

In the Economy Class, Utica’s Morgan Vanover continued his winning ways from 2025 with the win followed by Jansen Morris and Patrick Boling.

 

In the Bomber Class, Dunmor’s Terrence Phelps overcame recent mechanical failures on the No. 30 entry to claim the win with Russell Murray bringing home 2nd followed by Carson Rudd.

 

Hopkinsville’s Chevy Burgess took home the trophy in the Mini Stock class with Jared Ball finishing in the runner up position. Owensboro’s Travis McDaniel finished in 3rd.

 

Joey Summers held off a strong charge from Kyler Sneed to win in the Rusty Bolt class on Sunday night. Owensboro’s James Embry took home third place honors.

 

Lewisburg’s Cyle Forgy put on a clinic in the 602/604 Crate Late Model feature with Owensboro’s Zach Dennis finishing in 2nd. Paducah’s Brody Yarborough completed the podium with a 3rd place finish.

 

Owensboro’s Nic Brooks captured his 2nd win of the season in the CRUSA Street Stock class with Island’s Corey Kellems finishing in 2nd place, followed by Josh Tyler finishing in 3rd in his first start of the season.

Windy Hollow Speedway will return to racing on Sunday, April 25th for EZ Buy Night at Windy Hollow Speedway.
