OWENSBORO, KY (June 18, 2026): The roar of engines and burnouts will echo through Windy Hollow on both Friday and Saturday as Windy Hollow Dragway hosts a doubleheader weekend of drag racing action.
The weekend will kick off with Friday Night Fun on June 19th. The event will include fun runs, grudge racing, test and tune and a trophy race to end the night. Friday’s gates will open at 5:30pm with on-track activity from 6:30pm-10:30pm.
On Saturday June 20th, Windy Hollow Dragway will host International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) Bracket Racing featuring $1200 To Win for Super Pro, $1000 To Win for Pro, $300 To Win for Jr. Dragsters, $300 To Win for Sportsman, plus Trophy and Motorcycle Racing. Gates will open at 2:30pm with time runs beginning at 5pm.
“We really appreciate the support of our drag racers and want to show them the appreciation through increased purses,” said track owner, Trevor Hutchins. “We had a great turn out on June 5th, so we hope to see the staging lanes packed once again.”
General Admission for each day is $12 for adults, ages 6-10 is $6, with 5 and under free.
