OWENSBORO, KY (May 4, 2026): Eighteen drivers from across the nation converged on Windy Hollow Speedway for Sunday’s $2500 To Win CRUSA Street Stock Feature presented by Kelley Trucking.

Drivers from Mississippi, Texas, Florida, and the Carolinas made the trip to battle for the purse, but when the checkered flag fell it was an Owensboro veteran hoisting the trophy as Chad Boone captured the win in the 25-lap feature, leading flag to flag.

Chad Boone, who had retired from full-time competition to coach his sons Cayden and Colin, returned to the driver’s seat to pilot the No. 25 Tyler Nicely Racing entry on Sunday night. Boone swept the event by turning the fastest lap in qualifying, winning his heat race and capturing the feature. Bridge City Texas’ Corey Neil finished second followed by Crofton’s Trent Young.

In the Economy feature, Morgan Vanover took home the win in the No. 00 Ford Mustang followed by Shaun Hagan and Mark Van Winkle.

Russell Murray picked up his first Windy Hollow Speedway feature win in the Bomber division over Trevor Tune and Jason Wooldridge.

In the Mini Stock division, Jared Ball made a last lap pass to take home the win followed by Zach Witt and Greg Wilkes.

Morgantown’s Joey Summers continued his domination in the Rusty Bolt division by taking home the feature win over father and son duo, James Embry and James Dale Embry.

James Dockery faced a tough battle with Camden Rudd in the Crown Vic feature, before Rudd experienced a flat tire late in the event. Morgan Vanover finished second followed by Jansen Morris.

In the 602/604 Crate Late Models, Dustin Rollins led flag to flag capturing his third win of the weekend. Zach Dennis finished second followed by Jake Wilson.

Windy Hollow Speedway will return to action on Saturday, May 16th for the Slingin’ Dirt Late Model Series.
